NSWCCL is a democratic, community based organisation managed by a Committee elected annually from its members. The Committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month. 

The Committee includes an Executive that conducts business in between Committee meetings.

An annual general meeting of members, held in October, elects Executive and Committee members and approves broad policies.  

NSWCCL is an incorporated organisation. Its rules are set out in its Constitution.
